The Challenge

Proslat faced a major operational hurdle, managing inventory across multiple warehouse locations.

Manual coordination between warehouses.
Delays in sales order processing.

This fragmentation resulted in slow order execution and increased operational overhead.

Requirements

Proslat needed an ERP system that could:

Automate the sales process
Manage stock levels and movement across multiple warehouses
Handle internal stock requests between warehouses
Automatically trigger restocking when inventory is low

The Solution

To meet Proslat growing needs, we at Micra Digital built a custom automation workflow using Odoo ERP that simplified both sales and inventory operations. Here how it worked:

Smart Sales Automation

When a sales order is confirmed:

If the product is in stock, the system automatically reserves it and validates the delivery.
If the product is not available, a Request for Quotation (RFQ) is generated automatically, which is then confirmed as a Purchase Order.
Once the item is received, the system updates the inventory and auto-generates the supplier bill and reserves the product for the delivery order.

Warehouse Interconnectivity

The system allows real-time inventory visibility across all warehouse locations.
If one warehouse receives the order, it can raise an internal request and receive items from another warehouse, improving internal logistics and reducing delays.
